The Verdict is in let the 99 Days of Summer Begin. Memorial Day kicks off the 99 Days of summer sailing through to Labor Day. The Forecast for the next 99 days is calling for fun. So grab your friends, sunscreen and join us for 50 Shades of Summer fun.
This summer San Diego is packed with fun things to do from the city to the bay, I say why not make every day a holiday. What ever you are in the mood for, San Diego has it covered. If you are in the mood for fun on the field, we have Baseball & Polo, Opening Day for Polo starts Sunday June 11 and goes through October 1. Opening Day Polo kicks off the 31st Annual Season. The first Match starts at 1:00pm, See you out on the field.
Baseball, America’s Favorite Pastime continues all summer with Padres Baseball– take me out to the ball game, buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks and head on out to Petco Park for some baseball fun.
If you prefer the track, check out horse racing, The Del Mar Race Season opens July 19th through Sept. 4th. So grab your Hats, ladies put on your Heels, It’s almost Track Season time to place your bets because this summer is going to be a trifecta of fun.
If Cotton Candy, Fried Food & Rides sound like summer fun- Check out the San Diego County Fair kicks off June 2 through July 4. The Fair is jam packed with fun, festivals, concerts and special events. To soak up all the fun grab your Fun Fair Pass– 26 Days of Fun for $26.
Can’t forget about the Comic fans from around the globe of zombies to super heroes that invade America’s Finest City July 19- 23 (Preview Night July 19) for Comic -Con– Tickets are hard to get but if you don’t have tickets don’t worry, you can catch all the wild fun outside the convention center as the Gaslamp transforms into a Comic Adventure. Just grab your friends, a cape and head out for a weekend of Comic-Con Fun.
If music is your passion, tune in for fabulous live concerts all over San Diego, Open Air Concerts, Festivals, even the San Diego Fair and Del Mar race track host concerts all summer. The Del Mar Concert Series kicks off Friday July 21 through September 3 from reggae to rock! For Local Music all over San Diego check out my personal favorite Casey Turner Music – Jump on the No Stress Express, his music will whisk you away to the islands with his reggae, rock acoustic jams & island vibes. There is fabulous fun and music for everyone, San Diego in the Summer never sounded so good.
