If Cotton Candy, Fried Food & Rides sound like summer fun, you may have the fever for the flavor of the fair, skip down to the San Diego County Fair. It runs from May 31-July 4 closed Mondays & Tuesdays in June. Sundays are Family Day, grab your friends and family and we will see you out at the Fair. If you prefer the track, the summer season continues with The Del Mar Race Season opens July 17th through Sept. 2. So grab your Hats, ladies put on your Heels, It’s almost Track Season time to place your bets because this summer is going to be a trifecta of fun.
Tip your hat, kick up your heels and bring on the horses. Del Mar Horse Race Season kicks off Wednesday July 17 – running through September 2. Opening day is full of fun and fashion celebrating the Hat Contest, so pull out your wild & crazy, bold & beautiful hats.
Opening Day forecast is calling for sun and fun, don’t forget the sunscreen.
The first post is at 2 p.m. gates open 2.5 hours before on opening day and two hours prior throughout the season. All Fridays this season the first post is at 4PM followed by concerts. Fridays are also Happy Hour till 6pm with 50% off Signature Cocktails and select Beers.

Can’t forget about the Comic fans from around the globe of zombies to super heroes that invade America’s Finest City July 18- 21(Preview Night July 17) for Comic -Con– Tickets are hard to get but if you don’t have tickets don’t worry, you can catch all the wild fun outside the convention center as the Gaslamp transforms into a Comic Adventure. Just grab your friends, a cape and head out for a weekend of Comic-Con Fun.
